This page explains what happens when you register your interest at okrgo.io. We collect as little as possible: just your email address, and a record of your consent to be emailed.
What we collect
When you submit the sign-up form, we collect your email address and the fact that you ticked the consent checkbox, along with the time you did so and the page you signed up from. We don't ask for your name or any other personal information on this page.
Why we collect it
Solely to email you about okrgo's launch and related product updates you've asked to hear about. This is the only purpose we use your email address for.
Legal basis
Your explicit, opt-in consent (Article 6(1)(a) UK/EU GDPR). We don't pre-tick the consent checkbox, and consent is not bundled with any other agreement.
Where your data is processed
We use Kit (kit.com) as our email service provider to store your email address, send the confirmation email, and manage unsubscribes. Kit acts as our data processor under a Data Processing Agreement. No other third party receives your email address.
Double opt-in
After signing up, you'll receive a confirmation email. Your address is not added to our mailing list until you click the confirmation link — this protects you from being subscribed by someone else using your email address by mistake.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address for as long as you remain subscribed, or until okrgo launches and this waitlist is no longer needed, whichever comes first. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time — see below.
Your rights
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send you, which removes you from the list immediately. You can also ask us to access, correct, or delete your data, or withdraw consent, by emailing hello@okrgo.io. If you're in the EU or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Cookies
This page does not use analytics or tracking cookies. We only process what you actively submit through the sign-up form.
